Frequently asked questions
How long does a Reiki session last?
Usually both a Traditional and Behavioral Reiki session last for one hour, however the approach is slightly different. The key difference between a Traditional and a Behavioral Reiki session is whether you want feedback. Feedback is where the Behavioral Reiki Therapist tells you what your chakras are saying you need to work on the most. For a Behavioral Reiki Therapist, to provide this feedback, the therapist must be comfortable in trusting their own psychic connection which would utilize their 6th sense of intuition.
In Traditional Reiki, the Practitioner utilizes different music to help the client get into a more relaxed position. The music that you would be listening to should be varied to match the different frequencies of each chakra.
How much does it cost for a Reiki Session?
1 Hour Traditional Reiki Session $50
1 Hour Behavioral Reiki Session $70
1 Hour Emergency Traditional Reiki Session $80
1 Hour Emergency Behavioral Reiki Session $100
** Payment is necessary prior to scheduling any appointment. **
Emergency Sessions are scheduled for within 48 hours. For Emergency Sessions scheduled on a Friday, the appointment would not be scheduled until either Monday or Tuesday.
Do you have a cancelation policy?
For cancellations within 24 hours you will not receive a refund but you can receive 1 no charge rescheduled appointment.
For cancellations within 2 hours you will not receive a refund and you will not receive a no charge rescheduled appointment.
How frequent should I have a Reiki attunement?
It depends on the pace you want to keep. Just as some joggers are sprinters, and need to require a higher pace, while others are marathon runners and need a slower more manageable pace. There’s not a one-size fits all answer to how frequent one should have a Reiki attunement.
Ideally, one a week is the in-between frequency between a sprinter (two a week) and a marathon runner (every other week). For individuals who prefer to be sprinters, then life-steps are broken down into smaller, easier steps. For those who prefer to be marathon runners, the steps are more robust and project type of steps.
Are Reiki Attunements a life-long commitment?
Ideally, yes. However, once someone embraces Reiki in their lives, they transition from “doing Reiki” to “being Reiki”. The goal of Reiki Sessions should always be to learn how to do self-reiki, either through learning how to concentrate on your energy centers or learning about how to control your behaviors and impulses through Behavioral Reiki. Once you have learned the necessary skills in self-Reiki, then sessions through me begin to taper off.
As a Medium, do you do readings to contact deceased family members and/or friends?
I practice a therapeutic mediumship whereby everything that I discuss in a Reiki session is meant to be therapeutic. In that, my Higher Self (the anchor on the other side) works with a team of Spirits who help deliver the best outcome for your Reiki Session. This team consists of my guides and angels, your guides and angels, your family and friends, and ascended masters.
Do you use Divining Tools such as crystals, tarot/angel cards, pendulums, and/or dowsing rods?
Although I do own pendulums and dowsing rods and am more than happy to show you how they work, I do not use them anymore in my Reiki sessions. In my opinion, these are great tools to use while learning to trust your intuition, but you should eventually learn to trust your intuition without them. Oftentimes these divining tools can only provide a certain amount of information and aren’t ideal in cases where information needs to be more detailed. Furthermore, the use of tarot/angel cards relies heavily on the individual’s interpretation of them and relies on the individual’s intuition.
How does Reiki Sessions work remotely?
During a Reik Session I am looking at your aura and the health of your aura. For this reason I only need to see you remotely in order to achieve this. In essence, I am receiving what your aura looks like, including its health, through a “download”. A “download” is a simple term used to describe receiving information from the other side. Even individuals who aren’t in tune with their psychic connection receive downloads every day. It just may come across differently, as in a sudden insight. In those moments like what we see on tv, and the cartoon character receive a good idea symbolized as a lightbulb over their head, this is a download.
During your Reiki session, I spend the first half looking at and examining the health of your aura. During the Second half I am receiving this substantial download which provides me with context with the help they are advising to provide to you. (Fun fact, the first half of the session is through psychic connection. The Second half of the session is through mediumship).
What is the training a Reiki Practitioner/Therapist must undertake before seeing clients?
The training to become a Reiki Practitioner consists of three individual courses, or degrees, they must take to become attuned and certified. However, beginning with the second degree, a practitioner can begin to see clients, but isn’t considered a Reiki Master until they’ve obtained the third degree. Individuals completing the first degree of training are certified to administer self-Reiki. A Reiki Master has experiencing utilizing all 10 Usui Reiki Symbols.
An individual who is a Behavioral Reiki therapist has experience in all three forms of Reiki (Usui Reiki, Karuna Ki Reiki, and Shamballa Reiki). They also have a firm understanding of how “being Reiki” looks through an individual’s energy centers (Chakras) and how it manifests in everyday life. Training for Behavioral Reiki is upcoming sometime in the 2027, as well as the book I have written called Soul Searching: Principles of Behavioral Reiki, due out potentially late 2026).
What is the limits of both Traditional and Behavioral Reiki?
The Reiki Practitioner and/or Therapist must not be so emboldened to believe that Reiki is a cure all and must learn to recognize when Reiki is and isn’t effective. It is the Practitioner and Therapist responsibility to encourage clients to seek additional medical and/or mental health assistance and to understand that Reiki can only play a supportive role and not the only role a client may need.
Can I ask for Reiki for someone else in my family or a friend?
No. Reiki must be accepted directly and not indirectly. Reiki is something that we must invite into our lives in order to accept, and anyone has the right to deny any Reiki energy transference for any reason.
